Ramblings

So today I awoke at 0800 and felt fine until I read my Journal and got mad all over again. Got a lot of cards from a friend. I wish I had money to buy cards, I think that is one of the reasons I can not play very well. I have limited funds and everyone that I play with buys cards and boxes of cards so they think they have the best decks. They also play combos that lock up the board. So one of my friends wants a blanket made. Still have no idea what to get my dad for fathers day. 

Ramblings

Went fishing yesterday, caught a Spanish mackerel. I used my new Sabiki pole and caught a lot of bait fish. I stayed out from 5 to 9 and had a lot of fun. I can not wait for the next trip. So on the agenda today is a good game of magic. Some time this week I think that I will go visit with my parents. Hurricane season started yesterday. I Pray that one does not hit anywhere. Well the rain is going and the dog is hiding. I played poorly in magic and had very little fun. I really need to get better.

Summer of 2016

Hello all, I have been busy with knitting and crochet and mowing the grass with a brand new Cub Cadet riding mower. The first picture is the mail carriers Christmas present, the second is back scrubbers for my dad's father's day and B-I-L's birthday presents, and the third is a knitted chevron throw for myself.

Also been fishing and this is the largest fish I have caught. Been playing Magic the Gathering here and there. and visiting my family when I can. I have also started to go to two clubs for fiber arts. One on every Saturday and one on every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Floor in the Back Bedroom

Well today F-I-L is coming over to help me fix the floor in the back bedroom. I am waiting for him to show. So thought I would get on and update my blog. Well here it is Sunday and the floor is down and screwed into place. F-I-L came over on Friday like I said, he got here at 1445 and we looked at the floor and decided that we needed more wood and we took out the staples and got everything up to where all we needed to do on sat was cut and pull up the wood. So on Saturday we took up half of the floor and laid the plywood down. So today we got the other piece out and then put down a piece of plywood. We had to take two back to get cut, when we got them back the fit just right. so now I have to fix a few holes in the drywall and change a few pieces. Then paint the floor and walls and trim. Then I can put in the trim and start calling it my craft room. That is where we will keep our craft stuff.

I went to Chris and Pete's last night to play some magic, and he was running extended while I was running constructed decks. It gave me a chance to figure out a little of my problems with the decks. I need to get some other decks built so I can have some fun with the other guys at monthly magic. I just wish I had the money to buy one of every card that I do not have. Got home from that at 0200 and got back up at 0645.

cold winter nights

Hello everyone, at the library and having fun the wife is at home playing on the computer. All the cats love how we arranged the room. It freaked out Dennis the Menace. He walked into the room and wanted back out. So how is everyone doing? Now we try and keep the room free of cats but then they start in on the crying and (the wife has a heart of gold) she lets them in. No rest for the nice people they cry to get in the when we are up and home. me personally i will not let them in and let them cry but when the wife is home she will let them in, we only let a few sleep with us. Well there is a magic game on the 7 of February. it's going to be fun to get out of the house and play some with some good players. I have several decks build for the game, and we are doing a draw so I will get some more cards. Wish me luck I am going to win the prize. I am going to have some fun at least. I started this baby blanket for a friend. I hope that she will like it and use it. I have so many projects to do and the wife wants me to make some that she found in a magazine. But I am supposed to make the baby blanket before sometime in February. I will have some pictures up while I am doing the blanket, at least I am not playing that game I got for Christmas. And now I can transport pictures from the phone to the computer via a USB port.

Tonight is Magic Night

Went fishing this morning did not catch anything, although I did get a bite. So I went out again this afternoon and I got a bowfish, two small perch at the Withlacoochee river and these two spanish speaking fellows gave me some catfish. Then I went to work pond and tried it out at six and nothing started to bite until seven. and there I got two small perch and two catfish. I tried to fish the pond behind the library (which will be known as library pond), but the grass grows all over the shore. I am still feeling under the weather but at least I am not sneezing right now. The guys emailed and thought they had enough to draft tonight I really hate feeling sick. I have to mow the yard tomorrow so might not get to go fishing. Will see how it goes tomorrow. Would not mind trying them perch again, if there are small ones then there have to be bigger ones.

The river cats smelled awful bad so I threw them away, and the two pond ones got butchered real bad so looked up how to fillet a fish and found a good web sight, now I am trying to find one on how to fly fish. This is the biggist one I was able to get, maybe 2 pounds.
